“When it comes to potent live shows and smoking grooves, few bands are able to keep pace with Under The Rasta Influence.” (The Source April 09) As a whole, the six-piece reggae band is young, fresh and straight up talented. U.R.I has been able to gain respect from the legendary DJ Squeeze along with Jamrock Magazine, as well as be featured in The Source Magazine this past April. Each member of U.R.I brings something unique to the reggae band, forging a style and sound that is distinct and very much their own. Donovan’s infectious charisma and voice captivates crowds, and somewhere between the unique lead styling’s of Tim's guitar and the swagger of bassist Sean Lewis, U.R.I delivers an intense and energy-driven show that is unparalleled, and maintains a high level of musicianship. U.R.I has opened for hip hop acts such as Drake, The Cool Kids, Brand Nubian, Dead Prez, Jadakiss, Styles P, The Beatnuts, Cassidy, and reggae acts Serani, Mr. Vegas, Norris Man, Luciano, Glen Adams, Milton Henry, and Everton Blender.URI Opens for Mr. Vegas

Simply put, URI delivered; after their set, you would have gotten your $20 worth, but there was more to come“."
